I spend a lot of time talking to people on the Internet. I love breaking through the noise online and bringing back the art of conversation. Ironic really, as I'm a major introvert in person! I'm all about a heart-centred, flexible approach to working with clients, whilst showing commitment to your community, and focussing on collaboration over vanity statistics and competition.
Creative entrepreneurship is really important to me. Finding myself stuck in a 9-5 that emotionally and physically drained me, it hit me one day that it was up to me to make things happen for myself. So I quit to pursue the route of being my own boss. With only an average income from blogging opportunities alone, it was risky, but the benefits to my health far outweighed it.
It was the best thing I ever did. But I couldn't have grown my business without doing intentional tasks that allowed me to establish really great connections and build brand awareness. Now my businesses are built almost entirely on word-of-mouth, which is why I love to help businesses to take their content and communities to the next level - so they can do just that too!
The thing is, I can't do it alone... so Sparked Passion was born. I purposefully keep my team small and only hire amazing service-providers who I've known for a number of years, who get the crazy journey of being a female entrepreneur and love taking tasks off your hands so you can get back to doing what you do best.

2008 - I started blogging about live music events due to a keen interest in concert photography, having seen over 500+ artists (from One Direction, Take That and Justin Bieber to Bring Me The Horizon, Prodigy and Enter Shikari). After an operation that meant I had to learn to walk again, I unfortunately couldn't continue to create new content for this which led me to work on my next passion project.
2009 - I started a new blog about beauty - a second love of mine but an increasingly popular niche. I monetised this blog through affiliate income & sponsored posts, and worked with PR agencies/brands across the globe on content marketing and influencer campaigns. I loved this and the opportunities that came from hard work, but it was soon clear that I was destined for another new challenge.
2014 - I rebranded to a content marketing information-based blog due to the vast number of people seeking my guidance. Within one year I left my job as a special needs teaching assistant to blog and coach other bloggers full-time. I created various digital products and saw my posts each shared over 10,000 times on social media. But half way through 2015, my depression and anxiety took a turn for the worst. I deleted everything I'd worked for in attempt to start afresh with less pressure and consumption in my daily life.
2016 - After taking months off to focus on my health, I reevaluated my goals and chose to pursue a more hands-on career. I started two businesses: Sparked Passion Virtual Assistant Services UK and one under my own name as a freelance online community manager. I've since worked with entrepreneurs, start-ups and consumer brands globally.
2017 - Sparked Passion evolved and now has an amazing small team alongside myself, supporting female entrepreneurs with their must-do tasks through virtual assistant services, freelance content writing and Pinterest marketing services.
